namam no. 260) vrushaparvaa (वृषपर्वा) (వృషపర్వా)

aum vrushaparvaNe namah (ओं वृषपर्वणे नमः) (ఓం వృషపర్వణే నమః)

The word 'vrusha' means dharma, the code of conduct. It is a synonym of dharma. The word parva means steps or stairs.

The Saastraas clearly described and differentiated the code of conduct to be followed by humans at different stages in their life. All of them are like the steps towards obtaining the blessings of god. Thus the paramaatma is called vrushaparvaa as all the dharmaas are only a means of reaching the abode of god in a step by stem manner.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
