Sales Secret (32): Talk good of people; never their negatives

Hi,
You are part of a team at your home or in an organisation you are working with. Imagine someone comes in and inquires about a member of your team. What would you say about him? May be good or bad, depending on what your perception of him! Right? 

If you talk good about him, you will give a good impression about him and also about your overall organisation. And the opposite of it is true if you talk bad about a fellow salesman. The customer would get a wrong impression not only about that person but also about you and your whole team. Don't you think so?

Everyone has some positives and may be some negatives too. Why not look at those positives and tell only good about him, especially when you are required to talk about him to your customers or an outsider. It will help the customer develop a positive perspective about the person you are talking about and also you and your whole team. And that good impression of your customer on your team will help you and your organisation succeed more.

Let us look at the good things in our colleagues and talk good about them when we present them to others.
