namam no. 277) prakaaSaatmaa (प्रकाशात्मा) ( ప్రకాశాత్మా)

aum prakaaSaatmane namah (ओं प्रकाशात्मने नमः) (ఓం ప్రకాశాత్మనే నమః)

This namam prakaaSaatmaa reveals that He has such a power that is accepted by even the stupid and the insane.

Dhritaraashtra was blind by birth. As his mind was also filled with ignorance, he was blind in the both the ways. Out of love for his own sons, he did allow a lot of injustice to the children of his brother - the pandavas. Though Krishna was supporting the pandavas and protecting them every time his sons attempted to harm them, Dhritaraashtra had to accept him as a god.

Thus, the paramaatma is called 'prakaaSaatmaa' as He showed His powers and convinced even the insane.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
