namam no. 284) amritaamSoodbhavah (अमृतांशूद्भवः) (అమృతాంశూద్భవః)

aum amritaamSoodbhavaaya namah (ओं अमृतांशूद्भवाय नमः) (ఓం అమృతాంశూద్భవాయ నమః)

He is called amritaamSoodbhavah as He became the birth place of the cool moon. It means that the moon became cool just as the mind of the god which is also naturally cool like water.

As the moon, who has the traits like the ability to mellow down every one's anxieties, the power of bringing the dead alive, and the rays that are like the nectar of eternity, is also born from the mind of the god after absorbing the coolness that exists in His mind, the paramaatma is called amritaamSoodbhavah.

In essence, it means that the moon was born from the mind of god.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
