namam no. 285) bhaanuh (भानुः) (భానుః)

aum bhaanave namah (ओं भानवे नमः) (ఓం భానవే నమః)

He is known as bhanave as He glows so brightly that brightens even the brightest sun who has a thousand rays.

In other words, as the sun who has a great glow also draws his brightness from the paramaatma, this namam bhaanuh reveals the existence of natural brightness of the lord.

This namam appeared earlier also as namam # 126. It is not an exaggeration to call Him bhaanuh as even the sun, who is brighter than the moon and the stars, also borrows his light from the god.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
