Unstoppable Updates (28): How is it possible to move the lord who lifted a mountain on his little finger?

Hi,
Imagine the power and strength that is required to lift a large mountain on a little finger and hold it for 7 consecutive days. It is the 5-year old Krishna who did it in order to provide protection to the people of Gokul. Can any one in this universe move him if he does not want to move? No way. But every year on the day of the Rath Yatra in Puri, he is brought out of the temple and carried on a chariot from the Jagannath mandir to Gundicha mandir. How does it become possible for the ordinary people to lift him, carry him, and move him on a chariot?

Is it because of the huge numbers of the people that pull the chariot? Is it with their muscular strength they are capable of lifting him? Is it with the technological tricks with which the chariots are designed that a lord who had so much strength to lift and hold the large govardhan giri on just one of his little fingers can be easily moved from one place to another? Is it with the mantras that are chanted by the ocean of people that gather in Puri on that day that move the lord? Is it with the commands of the king or the orders of the governments that the chariot of the lord is moved? No way. No way. No way. Nothing in this world can ever be capable of lifting him, let alone moving or carrying him.

But still he is lifted, carried on hands, kept on the chariot, and carried from one place to another. How does it become possible? Yes, it becomes possible for one thing. And, that is the LOVE of his devotees for him. As revealed by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, it becomes possible because the lord is always moved with the love of his devotees. The Mahaprabhu describes the chariot that the lord sits on as the heart of the gopis, who have so much of love for him. They have their hearts filled with love and only love for him and nothing else. With love, he moves. He allows himself to be moved.

Thus, it is the LOVE that makes the lord move.

With love,
