The sameeraNah namam thus reveals that He engages Himself in the activities that are beneficial to His devotees.
The matsyaavatara murthy has the nature of favouring His devotees. Firstly, He enters the paataala, then brings out the vedas from paataala, and gives them to Brahma. He also brought the earth up at the time of pralaya.
