aninaat = life, living
As He gives to all the living entities the life or the ability to live, He is called anilah.
The word living (jeevan) means the life that is a mixture of joy and sorrow whereas the word ujjeevan means the higher living which eternal and full of only happiness - the moksha. As He gives both of these jeevan and ujjeevan, He is called anilah.
