Sales Secrets (9): How to Sell if You Hate Selling

Do you hate selling? or do you love selling? Either way, you must read this post.

"I hate selling." You might have heard this statement from many people. They think selling is bad, and perhaps that is the reason why they say so. Or they don't know how to do it, or they failed it, and therefore lost interest in it. 

But success in life depends upon your ability to sell. So, it is essential to get over this bad attitude. 

Let us understand why people say "I hate selling." Geoffrey James, Contributing Editor of Inc.com examines the root cause of such an attitude of people towards selling and enlists the following beliefs of the people as the possible reasons:  
1) Selling is manipulative
2) Selling is annoying
3) Selling is boring

He suggests a way to get over that attitude by undercutting above beliefs with the following beliefs:
1) Selling is actually helping
2) Selling is actually sociable
3) Selling is actually learning
