Sales Secrets (13): Stop, Look, and Listen

Hi,
What is the best way to compliment one and pass appreciation for what he or she is? Just stop, look at the person, and listen to what he says.  People need attention and like the people who give it. People desist indifference and like those who look at them when they talk. How can anyone offer anything to an indifferent person? 

A customer is not a nuisance. He deserves full attention. You can not look in another direction and answer him. You have to look at him and demonstrate that you care for him. A customer is also there willing to give you all the information that you may require to convince him, provided you are willing to listen to him.

So, the secret of success of most successful sales people is that they STOP to meet the customer, LOOK at him while interacting with him without any distractions, and LISTEN to him to understand his needs and requirements so as to offer a solution that meets them in the best possible manner.
