Monday Motivation for Success from Siva (46): The deserving get recognised, and never go unblessed

Hi,
You put in sincere efforts. Yo do your duty honestly. You contribute to the success of your organisation. But still you are not given due recognition or that promotion you thought you would get. And, at times, you may even find someone undeserving getting that. What do you do then? Do you feel disheartened and let down? Should you lose interest in your work and reduce your efforts and limit your contribution to the success of your organisation? Certainly NOT! You will get what you deserve sooner than later.

Let us take a look at this story from the Srimadbhagavatam.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The deserving get recognised, and never go unblessed
Sri Krishna and Balaram were on their way to Mathura to put an end to Kamsa and his atrocities. As they entered the city, they went to the home of a garland maker - Sudama. Sudama always made beautiful garlands for the king Kamsa and his family. He used flowers of different colours and weaved the garlands in the most beautiful fashion. He did his duty day-in and day-out sincerely and whole-heartedly. He never faltered in his devotion to the profession he chose to do - the garland making. He had always put his heart and soul in every garland that he made.

Krishna liked him, his devotion to his duty, and his skillful workmanship and visited his home. Having known already about Krishna, Sudama felt extremely delighted and said to himself, "How fortunate I am! The Balarama and Krishna, who are utmost kind and blessing, came to my home. I am indeed very blessed. I will worship them with these garlands."

Krishna became pleased with him and told him, "Ask me anything you desire. I shall grant it to you."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is a greater blessing to anyone than the visit of Krishna himself to his home? So, rewards do come to those who perform their responsibilities to the best of their abilities. They come in different forms, at different times, and from different sources. It is wiser to keep that faith and continue to give one's best at all times. The deserving will get what is due to them sooner or later....but will never go unblessed.
To your continued SUCCESS,
With love,
Siva
