namam no. 348) padmanaabhah (पद्मनाभः) (పద్మనాభః)

aum padmanaabhaaya namah (ओं पद्मनाभाय नमः) (ఓం పద్మనాభాయ నమః)

padmam = lotus; naabhi = naval

He is called padmanaabhah as He has a naval like the bud of a lotus.

As this namam earlier appeared twice as namam # 48 and namam # 198, here in stead of the meaning that He has a lotus in his naval, it refers to Him as the one who has a naval in the shape of a lotus bud.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
