This 4th sloka of VSNS has 12 names of lord Vishnu presented in it. They are listed below:
25) sarvah (सर्वः(సర్వః)
26) Sarvah (शर्वः(శర్వః)
27) Sivah (शिवः(శివః)
28) sthaaNuh (स्थाणु:(స్థాణుః)
29) bhutaadih (भूतादिः) (భూతాదిః)
30) nidhiravyayah (भूतादिः) (నిధిరవ్యయః)
31) sambhavah (संभवः) (సంభవః)
32) bhaavanah (भावनः) (భావనః)
33) bhartaa (भर्ता) (భర్తా)
34) prabhavah (प्रभवः) (ప్రభవః)
35) prabhuh (प्रभु:) (ప్రభుః)
36) eeSwarah (ईश्वरः) (ఈశ్వరః)

Their meanings are presented below:

nama no. 25. sarvah (सर्वः) (సర్వః)
om sarvaaya namah (ओं सर्वाय नमः) (ఓం సర్వాయ నమః)
From the last  naama no. 24 'purushothamah' we learned that He is the best and the highest. The 'paramataama' is everything and everyone. Thus, being the greatest of all, He need not care for anyone or anything, as they are all inferior to Him in all respects. However, since He is very kind and benign, He is giving us the swaroopa (shape), sthiti (identity), and pravrithi (character). And He is also the one who has the ability to take them back. Thus, He is called 'sarvah' as He not only creates and enters everything but also treats them as His own body.

This nama  'sarvah' means that He pervades in all the things and treats them as parts of His body, and that they are not different from Him. Since He is everything, everything (sarvah) is Him only.

nama no. 26. Sarvah (शर्वः) (శర్వః)
om Sarvaaya namah (ओं शर्वाय नमः) (ఓం శర్వాయ నమః )
'Sarvah' means the one who destroys. Destroys what? He destroys all the sorrows of our life. Just as it is our responsibility to wash the dirt that sticks to our body, He takes the responsibility of destroying the sorrows and all the other related doshas from us, as He is our 'aatma.'

nama no. 27. Sivah (शिवः) (శివః)
om Sivaaya namah (ओं शिवाय नमः) (ఓం శివాయ నమః)
'Sivah' means the one who does good. Lord Vishnu is called 'Sivah' as he blesses us with all the good things constantly by destroying all the evils that are harmful to us.

nama no. 28. sthaaNuh (स्थाणु:) (స్థాణుః)
om sthaanave namah (ओं स्थाणवे नमः) (ఓం స్థాణవే నమః)
The name 'sthaanuh' reveals lord Vishnu's 'consistency' in His nature of removing the difficulties of His devotees and presenting them with His blessings.

The previous 2 namas 'sarvah' and 'Sarvah' revealed that the Lord Vishnu is the one who destroys the sorrows of His devotees and blesses them with the good things that bring happiness to them, respectively. These two names thus revealed the 'protectiveness' of the god. The good karmas we do and the devatas we worship give us corresponding boons that are temporary in nature. Whereas 'Srimannaarayana' blesses us consistently and endlessly, as revealed by the nama 'sthaanuh.'

nama no. 29. bhutaadih (भूतादिः) (భూతాదిః)
om bhutadaye namah (ओं भूतादये नमः) (ఓం భూతాదయే నమః)
Lord Vishnu is called "bhutadi" as He is 'sought after by one and all."

Everyone desires to have all those things that give happiness and also all the bodily senses that form the vehicles of such pleasures. Even after possessing all of them, if one is not able to 'experience' them, there is no use of having them. When one questions and introspects, "Who is he to experience and for whom?" the wise realize that it is the 'aatma' and ultimately the 'paramaatma.' Hence, they take to His worship leaving everything else.

nama no. 30. nidhiravyayah (भूतादिः) (నిధిరవ్యయః)
om avyayaaya nidhaye namah (ओं अव्ययाय निधये नमः) ( ఓం అవ్యయాయ నిధయే నమః )
This nama 'nidhiravyayah' has two words in it - 'nidhi' meaning treasure and 'avyayah' meaning non-diminishing.

The greedy protect and preserve their wealth as a treasure for use in times of adversity. In the same way, we all could be greedy about the paramaatmah, and His blessings, the non-diminishing treasure. Lord Vishnu is indeed such a treasure that never gets decreased despite the many different ways His devotees enjoy His love and blessings.

He is the 'nidhiravyayah,' the treasure who should be cared for and preserved in the hearts of His devotees.

nama no. 31. sambhavah (संभवः) (సంభవః)
om sambhavaaya namah (ओं संभावाया नमः) (ఓం సంభవాయ నమః)
Thus, as described in the nama # 30 (nidhiravyayah), having introduced Himself into the hearts of His devotees like a treasure (nidhi) as an antaryaami, He desires to be with them and to move along with them. He makes it possible (sanbhavah) by manifesting Himself in different forms (avataaraas). He takes different forms at different times like matsya, kurama, varaaha, naarasimha, vaamana, rama, krishna, and others endlessly.

nama no. 32) bhaavanah (भावनः) (భావనః)
om bhaavanaaya namah (ओं भावनाय संभावाया नमः) (ఓం భావనాయ నమః)
The paramaatmah is said to be 'bhaavanah' as He, after manifesting Himself in different avataaraas, blesses the people who take to Him with right living by removing their difficulties and presenting them with what they desire.

The primary purpose of god's manifestation in an avataara is to protect His devotees, as described in Bhagavad Gita' 'paritraanaaya sadhunaam.'

nama no. 33) bhartaa (भर्ता) (భర్తా)
om bhartre namah (ओं भर्त्रे नमः) (ఓం భర్త్రే నమః)
Lord vishnu is called 'bhartaa' as He is the one who nurtures His devotees by providing them their livelihood.

In terms of a family, the word bhartaa means a husband who should nurture and provide livelihood to his wife and children. Similarly, paramaatmah also nurtures, not just one or two people, but the whole universe, especially all His devotees by providing them all that they desire.

nama no. 34) prabhavah (प्रभवः) ( ప్రభవః)
Om prabhavaaya namah (ओं प्रभवाय नमः) (ఓం ప్రభవాయ నమః )
The word 'prabhavah' means the one who has the 'best birth.'  The birth of Lord Vishnu is devoid of any doshas. Also, His birth is more special than even that of the devataas, as mere learning about His birth and the secrets of His avataara helps people obtain mukthi.

nama no. 35) prabhuh (प्रभु:) (ప్రభుః)
om prabhave namah (ओं प्रभवे नमः) (ఓం ప్రభవే నమః)
This nama 'prabhuh' reveals that though He takes birth and appears like a human in His avataaraas, He has the abilities to do anything and everything He desires.

The devataas may have the power to give certain things, but they get even that power to give from the God only. He is the one who is capable of either giving them such a power or even depriving them of the same. He is also the only one who could bless the most important of all - the moksha.

nama no. 36) eeswarah (ईश्वरः) (ఈశ్వరః)
om eesvaraaya namah (ओं  ईश्वराय  नमः) (ఓం ఈశ్వరాయ నమః)

This nama 'eeswarah' reveals Lord Vishnu's  greater abilities to extend benefits in this earthly world through His birth in the form of avataaraas than keeping Himself in the heavenly abode.

During His avataaraas also, He retains His abilities to control the universe. He doesn't lose them. As the other naamaas of 'sambhavah, bhaavanah, and prabhuh' given in this sloka are all avataara-related, this word 'eeswarah' is also understood in that manner.

om namo bhagavate vasudevaya.
