Saturday Story From Siva (53): The mighty oak was once a little nut that stood its ground

Hi,
People called it a nut. But it proved them wrong and showed that it could become a huge tree. Because, it did not believe in them. Rather it believed in itself. It trusted that God brought it with a purpose i.e., is to grow and serve. So, It stood its ground. It waited for its moment. It took roots and emerged out of the soil. It grew taller and taller, lived longer, and served better and better. And, now the same people who mocked at it once now started praising it a "MIGHTY OAK" tree. Let me share with you the story of the Oak tree through this week's Saturday Story....

As a young boy stares in bewilderment at an old enormous oak tree, he asks his father, " How did that tree grow so big and so high?" The father replies, " Well, it didn't start out that way! First, it was a seed that soaked up water and sunlight and it then it formed roots to give it strength to grow even stronger. It would then have to survive the cold snow of the long winters but that snow also provided that seed with protection and water that it would need to survive.

"After the first winter would pass, the seed's roots would grow stronger and bigger. With each passing summer, the seed would stretch its roots and would start to produce leaves. Although the tree would lose its leaves every fall, they would always grow back from where they came.

"So, as each year passes, nature performs its perfect job and the seed transforms itself into a tree each year by growing stronger, bigger and more beautiful than the year before."

There may be many naysayers who might belittle you or your dreams. They may call you nuts or insane and mock at you. They just don't know know what is hidden in you. It is you who should take your stance, believe in yourself, face the challenges, overcome the obstacles,  remain confident, grow up to be a person to serve the world in your own way, and become a force to reckon with. Then, don't be surprised if these very people call you a rock star or a celebrity or even a messiah.

To your SUCCESS,
With love,
Siva
