om mahaaveeryaaya namah (ओं महावीर्याय नमः) (ఓం మహావీర్యాయ నమః)
He is called mahaaveeryah' as he has the great attribute of 'veerya' which means staying unchanged despite the reasons.
'veerya' means unchanging even in the minutest manner despite the existence of many forces or reasons. He has this nature of stability in him in full, hence the name 'mahaaveeryah."
