Thought of the Day (114): Commonsense makes more sense

"The three great essentials to achieve anything worth while are: Hard work, Stick-to-itiveness, and Common sense."
Thomas A. Edison

"It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense."
 - Robert Green Ingersoll

For success in life, it is commonsense that comes handy more than a list of degrees or a wealth of knowledge. Yes degrees and knowledge are important. But without commonsense, they would not give the full benefit of them to their possessors. With commonsense, they are best utilised. Yet commonsense is not so common today. Lack of it costs people heavily.

Yes, with interest and effort, commonsense can be developed and put in practice. Take a look at your present level of commonsense and start improving it from today. Yes you can learn to improve it by becoming conscious of it and practicing it in your day-to-day work.

 To your continued SUCCESS,
With love,
Siva
