namam no. 297) kaantah (कान्तः) (కాంతః)

aum kaantaaya namah (ओं कान्ताय नमः) (ఓం కాంతాయ నమః)

He is called kaantah as He glows with His bodily attributes like beauty, tenderness, etc.

Shri Parashar Bhattar ji explains in his book that according to the word 'kaanta' He is desired to be seen by all due to His attributes of beauty, gentleness, etc. This namam again comes as 660th namam.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
