namam no. 317) kartaa (करता) (కర్తా)

aum kartre namah (ओं कर्त्रे नमः) (ఓం కర్త్రే నమః)

Here kartaa means one who destroyed. He is called kartaa as he destroyed Kaartaveerya Arjuna and the entire clan of kings.

This namam comes again as namam # 383, but in a different context.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
