namam no. 307) sahasrajit (सहस्रजित) (సహస్రజిత్)

aum sahasrajitea namah (ओं सहस्रजिते नमः) (ఓం సహస్రజితే నమః)

Thus, as He remains superior to all lying like that till the end of the kalpa even after thousands of yugaas, He is called sahasrajit.

Here sahasram means one thousand yugaas. It is said to be one kalpa. That little boy lies like that throughout that period of kapla as the creation happens at the beginning of the kalpa and culminates at the end of it with a mahapralayam. And that is unbelievable power.

sahasram means a thousand years; jit = being great. Hence, this namam sahsrajit.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
