Sales Secret (56): Sales with a benefit is a service, and without it is a fraud.

Sellers sell with a purpose. Buyers also buy with a purpose. Buyers have their needs that are to be met. When their needs are met with your products and services as per their expectations, they feel benefited, and they feel delighted. And, they become your regular customers and buy repeatedly from you. That's what makes your sales grow. You become a trusted sales person and your company's credibility enhances in the market place. 

On the other hand, sales without a benefit to the customer would be tantamount to a fraud. When a salesman sells something that does not meet the customer's needs, it is a loss to the customer. And, that makes the customer makes feel sorry for buying from you, and he would not buy from you any more. When you lose customers like that, you will not succeed in sales, and your company's business as well as reputation will fall down.

Remember that sales with a benefit to the customer is a service, and without it is a fraud. Hence, sell always that which benefits the customer in the best possible manner. That makes your customers happy. They become more loyal to your company. It will help your company retain its customers. There will be more of positive word of mouth spread around about you, your product, and your company. You will become a great salesman.
