namam no. 371) maheedharah (महीधरः) (మహీధరః)

aum maheedharaaya namah (ओं महीधराय नमः) (ఓం మహీధరాయ నమః)

He is called maheedharah as He facilitated by reducing the burden of the earth through the destruction of the evil as revealed in his avataars of Rama, Krishna, and others.

He revealed it Himself in the Bhagavadgita that in order to protect the good, destroy the evil, and establish dharma in the world, He facilitated the destruction of the kshudraas and reduced the burden of the earth.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
