Namam No. 193) hamsah (हंसः) (హంసః)

om hamsaaya namah (ओं हंसाय नमः) (ఓం హంసాయ నమః)

hamsa = to destroy; to walk

The word hamsa has 2 meanings: 1) to destroy, and 2) to walk.

As He destroys the company of bad people, He is called 'hamsah.' Also, as he walks beautifully like a swan, He is called 'hamsah.'

The word hasa means 'smile.' The 3rd meaning of this namam hamsah is that He has a beautiful smile.
