This 12th sloka of VSNS has 10 names of lord Vishnu presented in it. They are listed below:
105) vasuh (वसुः) (వసుః)
106) vasumanaah (वसुमनाः) (వసుమనాః)
107) satyah (सत्यः) (సత్యః)
108) samaatmaa (समात्मा) (సమాత్మా)
109) sammitah (सम्मितः) (సమ్మితః)
110) samah (समः) (సమః)
111) amoghah (अमोघः) (అమోఘః)
112) punDarikaakshah (पुण्डरीकाक्षः) (పుండరీకాక్షః)
113) vrishakarmaa (वृषकर्मा) ( వృషకర్మా)
114) vrishaakritih (वृषाकृतिः) (వృషాకృతిః)
Their meanings are presented below:
nama no. 105) vasuh (वसुः) (వసుః)
om vasave namah (ओं वसवे नमः) (ఓం వసవే నమః)
The word 'vasave' means that He "lives" with utmost love in the hearts of His devotees.
He says, "Where ever there are devotees that pray and sing with devotion, I stay with them joyfully."
nama no. 106) vasumanaah (वसुमनाः) (వసుమనాః)
om vasumanase namah (ओं वसुमनसे नमः) (ఓం వసుమనసే నమః)
The word 'vasuvu' means 'treasure.' Thus this nama 'vasuvu' means that He shows the amount of love for His devotees just as the kind of love one would have on a treasure.
This nama reveals the utmost love that Lord Vishnu has for His bhaktas.
nama no. 107) satyah (सत्यः) (సత్యః)
om satyaaya namah (ओं सत्याय नमः) (ఓం సత్యాయ నమః)
ssatu saadhuh = satyah
He is a 'saadhuh' with regard to the his devotees. Thus, this nama 'satya' reveals that the paramaatma protects His devotees with utmost care without allowing any dangers or discredits to them.
nama no. 108) samaatmaa (समात्मा) (సమాత్మా)
om samaatmane namah (ओं समात्मने नमः) (ఓం సమాత్మనే నమః)
The word 'sammatmaa' means that though there are variations in His devotees in terms of their character, creed etc, He would look at all of them with equality.
nama no. 109) sammitah (सम्मितः) (సమ్మితః)
om sammitaaya namah (ओं सम्मिताय नमः) (ఓం సమ్మితాయ నమః)
This nama 'sa + mitah' means that His devotees would think that He is theirs and that He is in their control.
Thus, He is called 'sammitah' as His devotees, having love for Him, would think and see paramaatma as if He is their own. Some see him as their son, some as their friend, and some think of him as a husband, brother-in-law, etc.
nama no. 110) samah (समः) (సమః)
om samaaya namah (ओं समाय नमः) (ఓం సమాయ నమః)
The word "sama" reveals the equality Lord Vishnu shows towards His devotees, despite the variations in their level of consciousness about Him. He does not differentiate them. He gives them His blessings equally to the known as well as the unknown. He is called "sama' as He treats His devotees equally, irrespective of their level of bhakti.
There is a minor difference in the meaning of the this nama from that of the earlier one 'samaatmaa'. While samaatmaa talks about paramaatmaa's equality towards people with differnces in caste and creed, this word sama refers to His equality towards people with differences in terms of their level of spiritual attainment.
nama no. 111) amoghah (अमोघः) (అమోఘః)
om amoghaaya namah (ओं अमोघाय नमः) (ఓం అమోఘాయ నమః)
The word 'mogha' means something that is a 'waste' which does not yield any result. Thus the nama 'amoghah' (na + mogha) means the opposite of it, one that doesn't go waste.
Any kind of relationship with God, whether it is His divine appearance to His devotees, or our prayers to Him, or our chanting of His nama, doesn't go waste. They yield a result for sure. As the relationship itself is having such an effect, the paramaatma is directly referred to as 'amoghah.'
nama no. 112) punDarikaakshah (पुण्डरीकाक्षः) (పుండరీకాక్షః)
om punDarikaakshaaya namah (ओं पुण्डरीकाक्षाय नमः) (ఓం పుండరీకాక్షాయ నమః)
The word 'punDareeka' means 'vaikuntha.' As He resides in it (vaikuntha), He is also referred to with the nama 'punDareeka.'
nama no. 113) vrishakarmaa ( वृषकर्मा) ( వృషకర్మా)
om vrishakarmaNe namah (ओं वृषकर्मणे नमः) (ఓం వృషకర్మణే నమః)
The word 'vrisha' means 'dharma' the righteousness.
Anything that results in the welfare and betterment of people is 'dharma.' This nama 'vrishkarmaa' thus reveals that everything that God does results in the good of all.
nama no. 114) vrishaakritih (वृषाकृतिः) (వృషాకృతిః)
om vrishaakritaye namah (ओं वृषाकृतये नमः) (ఓం వృషాకృతయే నమః)
It is not just that He preserves the dharma. Even His swaroopam (aakaara) - His divine stature is also a 'dharma-swaroopam.' That's why He is called vrishaakritih.
