namam no. 364) samitinjayah (समितिंजयः) (సమితిఞ్జయః)

aum samitinjaayaaya namah (ओं समितिञ्जयाय  नमः) (ఓం సమితిఞ్ఙాయాయ నమః)

Being the father of the universe, He wanted to bless all the living entities with the joy of living with wisdom. Hence, he asked them to obey him and live in doing service unto Him. It is here where the dispute arose for Him with them. This namam 'saminjayah' suggests that He became victorious in that dispute.

The word 'samiti' means a 'war' and 'jayah' means the victory. This namam saminjayah thus means that He achived victory in the dispute.

aum namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
