sam-pra-mardayateeti = one who removes or destroys that wall of tamoguNa.
He is called sampramardanah as He removes the wall of tamoguNa that engulfed the ignorant mortals with with the knowledge about Him - divyagnanam.
In essence, it reveals that He destroys that wall of tamoguNa attached to His devotees. And He is the only one who is capable of doing it. No one else can do that.
om namo bhagavate vasudevaya!
