Sales Secret (57): Your preparation for your sales call impresses your customer; PREPARE WELL.

Hi,
How prepared are you when you meet your customers? Do you consciously prepare well before you go to meet your customers? Is your sales kit ready? Does it contain all the items that you should be carrying with you? Do you have a check-list that helps you verify whether you are carrying all the essential or missing any of them? What questions hi might ask, and what should be your response to those questions? What questions you should be asking him? How are you going to close the sale and get the order? All in all, how physically, mentally, and intellectually prepared are you when you are out on a sales call?

While there are so many benefits that you would enjoy if you prepare well for your sales calls, I would like to state one important benefit of a good sales preparation here. That is the kind of impression your customer would get about you. If you are well prepared, he would be able to easily notice that you came prepared for the discussion. He would feel respected that you cared for the discussion with him. He would think that you acted like a professional. He would immediately get impressed with you, and he would also pay attention to you and participate in the discussion with a bit more seriousness. That would help you gain progress in your sales call, and possibly get you want you want from your customer. 


Preparation is the key to sales success. Hence, prepare well every time you go on a sales call. Your success as a salesman is guaranteed.
